This three-part training programme aims to train qualified doctors to independently perform thoracic ultrasound in order to diagnose and treat patients with lung diseases. No experience of performing ultrasounds is necessary. Successful completion of this programme will result in ERS certification in thoracic ultrasound as a marker of knowledge and skills in this field.
Part 1: Theory
Online modules: six online modules focused on relevant knowledge to be competent in thoracic ultrasound.

Successful completion of Part 1 is a precondition to register for Part 2.
Part 3: Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)
The examination will take place during the ERS International Congress in Milan on 9th September. Click here to register.
