We are excited to announce that registration has opened for the ERS International Congress 2023, taking place on 9-13 September.
You can attend this year’s Congress either in person or online, but please be aware that onsite places sold out for last year’s event – so book early to avoid disappointment.
By registering before 5 July, you will also be able to take advantage of our early-bird discount, which offers a significant saving on standard fees.
An exciting five-day programme you won’t want to missWe’re excited to welcome the return of a five-day programme – offering the very latest in respiratory medicine and science across the full range of respiratory topics. This year we will also be adding new opportunities for networking, building relationships and getting engaged in new projects on the final day of the event.
Exclusive to members: no VAT costs
ERS members are exempt from Italian VAT for this event – meaning members automatically benefit from paying 22% less than non-members.

Help us to contribute to a more sustainable futureAs part of ERS’ commitment to a more sustainable future, we ask all people who register to attend Congress in person to pay a small fee of €5 towards carbon offsetting for this event. ERS will then match that contribution and 100% of that donation will go to an active MyClimate project – initiatives which align with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. We hope that this initiative will be widely supported, but all registrants will have the option to opt out of this payment at the point of registration.
